The grand design for the development of the APPI Kogen Plateau was created by graphic design master Yusaku Kamekura. The color, shape, etc. of the villa is one of the works that we put a lot of effort into as part of the overall design of the town of APPI Kogen Plateau. While computers were still in their infancy, Yusaku Kamekura designed the colors and shape of the APPI Grand Villa using prints and models.
The design of the resort, centered on the Hotel APPI Grand, was also praised by Mario Botta, a famous Swiss landscape architect.

It has already been over 30 years since the hotel was built, but the villa side seen from the Hotel APPI Grand, and the Hotel APPI Grand side seen from the villa. Both of them are designed as “art”, and we hope you will enjoy them from such a viewpoint.
